Maria Iqbal
Maria Iqbal is a journalist who has worked for Canadian news organizations such as the Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, Hamilton Spectator and Toronto Life. She’s been recognized by the Ontario Newspaper Awards for beat reporting and COVID-19 reporting, and her feature writing has been shortlisted for the Canadian National Newspaper Awards. She completed her master’s degree in journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University.
